The Ford Bronco is a legendary 4x4 and an American automotive icon. Four years into its highly acclaimed sixth generation, the Bronco continues to prove that the hype is more than justified.
Over the past two years, the Bronco has expanded its roster with unique variants and upgraded features. The 2022 model year introduced the Everglades and Raptor models, plus higher levels of Ford's High-Performance Off-Road Stability Suspension (HOSS) system. Last year, Ford paid homage to the Bronco's history with the throwback Heritage and Heritage Limited Editions. For 2024, the Bronco sees more minor changes. But that doesn't mean they're insignificant. Here's a quick rundown:
- Ford has retired base trim, making the well-equipped Bronco Big Bend the new entry-level model.
- The previously standard 8-inch touchscreen has also been dropped. Now, Edmond and El Reno drivers will enjoy a 12-inch SYNC® 4 touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and integrated navigation regardless of the configuration.
- Exclusive to the Bronco Raptor, the new Code Orange Package adds a splash of color in the form of unique orange graphics across the rear fenders and windows. It also has matching orange tow rooks and beadlock wheel rings and available orange seatbelts.
- All 2024 Bronco Raptor models get body-colored fender flares instead of the usual unpainted black.
- The Badlands trim now comes standard with a heavy-duty steel front bumper.
